"Scandalous and scurrilous" is how Jere Hargrove referred to the blog of Representative Stacey Campfield a couple of months back...I have yet to hear of any comments he's made concerning the Tennessee Waltz several of his fellow legislators have danced in?

Horses, cellphones, and the Duke

The other day I was headed for the big city and I spotted a couple of guys riding horses. About a half mile or so down the road, another guy and his horse were standing still. As I got closer I noticed he was talking on a cellphone... Now that just aint right. Can you picture John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, or Robert Duvall sitting on a horse jabbering away on a cellphone.

Overalls Appreciation Society

Being a hillbilly sort of fellow, I pay close attention to my fellow residents of the hills. So whenever I go out, I look for folks wearing overalls. Don't matter what brand, (I wear Liberty overalls) well anyway, yesterday at the Crossville Flea Market I spotted eleven sharply dressed people out showing off their overalls.
